Swimming @ the Pool

We took Trip swimming at the pool yesterday. It's so nice because besides the big pool they have a kiddie pool for little ones. We had to hold onto Trip the whole time, he thinks he should be able to float and swim on his own...he's a wild man and very independent. He had so much fun with Dada and was smiling so big! He loves the water and doesn't even mind it on his face (or in his mouth as he likes to drink it)! I told my dad he may have a swimmer afterall!

We have had a busy, but really fun couple of weeks. The weather has been wonderful and Trip loves to be outside. He is really loving the pool, lake, swinging, going to the park for a picnic, ice cream, his cousin and best bud kal, canusa, walking up and down the driveway, and many more. One of his all time favorites is swinging in a blanket. He does this mostly at the lakehouse with Papa and Aunt Rachel. He will drag a blanket over to them, lay on it, and do the "more" sign with his hands. Then he just giggles and smiles the entire time. He never ever sits down...this boy is a wild man! We are having a lot of fun and can't wait for more good times to come!

A Night Out

A few weeks ago, my sister Jeni, brother Robby, and I went out for dinner and a few drinks. We had a lot of fun...a little too much. Here are a few pictures from the night. Jeni and I were trying to do our cute mugshot pose (apparantly Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie put their chins down to look better). I'm not sure if it's the way to go or not.

Look at this Face!

Trip is quite the funny guy and loves, loves, loves to smile and giggle. I have a hard time staying upset when he is misbehaving, when he giggles at me almost instantly when I say, "NO". He thinks it's funny. What have I got myself into with this little man. Luckily he is easily distracted, so I can move him onto the next thing when he is doing something he shouldn't. I am happy to report that now I have no excuse for not updating more regularly. We got faster internet! We had internet through Directv (a huge dish on our roof) because when we first moved in the cable wasn't in the neighborhood yet. Well I finally switched last week and I am so glad I did!! It's crazy how slow ours was before and it never worked when it was rainy, snowy, or cloudy! So anyways, spring is here and we are loving every minute of it! I'm taking lots of pictures, so get ready for many updates.
